I would like to see a limit on the number of times the Pirates can attack you in a day. I was attacked 3 times going from Shangai to London. So now I am stuck in Shangai and I am unable to play a game that I am paying for. I subscribed to play 12 cases a day. Doesn't really seem fair that I don't get to play ANY.

I think pirates should attack once a day. OR put something in place so that not ALL of your cases are taken. Yes, I know about Hostage Negotiation but for new players trying to get other skills this is really bad.

It was so great that you responded so quickly and made the change! But today I got hit by pirates three times in a row trying to get from Delhi to Shanghai. That's "only" six cases, but still...

I thought it was changed so you will never get hit more than twice.

Hmmm. It 'does' say that, doesn't it...

Though this does sound a bit hazy doesn't it:

1) The chances of getting pirated twice in a day have been reduced, and you should never be pirated more than twice.

So the chances have been 'reduced'. So there's still a 'chance'? And it says 'should' never and not 'will' never , so... smells like you 'could' get pirated 3 times in a row, you'd just have to be really really unlucky?

I've asked Ben to clarify.

After many a week of being pirate free I was hit twice in a row the other day - and I LOVED it.

Seriously, I was excited. The change to the pirate rules came about 2 days after I finally made the agonizing decision to choose the Tea Steepers. It's good to know that my choice will eventually be useful.

I do like that you no longer lose money. My entire savings was wiped out the first few times the pirates struck.

Actually there is a way never to be attacked by pirates. I will post it for those who are afraid of them. Take your kit and travel through Shangri la to your destination if the trip is =>3 days ...and forget all about pirates and steepers !.

Unfortunately you have to sacrifice an accessory item if you take the travel kit -eg. lower tough, charming, or smart points. Not worth it in my never too humble opinion.
