I'm thinking of doing my first AVH but i have a question i haven't found the answer to...

how does one fail at an AVH? is there a time limit to them? do you have to complete it within a certain number of cases or days? or do you fail cos you accuse the wrong person or something?

you can take as long as you need you only fail if you accuse the wrong person

it should also be noted that failed a villain hunt does NOT cost you an FA. But you can still get a FA if you accuse the wrong person during a case. Hope thats clear!

Just to clarify things, so we don't have people wailing at us that they screwed up from what they read here:

Guess the wrong person on a case--you've got yourself an FA, and are now Shady's newest best friend.

Guess the wrong townsperson as a Co-Conspirator on an Arch-Villain Hunt--you've failed your hunt, but you do NOT have an FA.

While there is an open topic on this subject there is something I would like to know!

AVH rewards: I understand there is an equipment reward but is there a cash reward at the end or just what you recieve during the individual cases? and likewise with experience?

Just the individula case rewards that you get for completing an AI cases. Once the AVH is over you visit the Prince for a special item which you can keep or sell at the detective shop. The items that you get sell for $48,000

do you know what you will get before hand? otherwise you might have to travel to shangri-la naked in case you want to keep the item?

The reward items are completely random, like most things here at Sleuth. However, there are only three categories of items--Hats, Coats, and Accessories. There are four choices to pick from, and you get any one item of those four. But you can go with a pair of shoes and one hand in use, and still be safe. ;-)
