Clarification needed on Travelling

I noticed that when I went to the docks it says it costs so much to travel to London, Delhi etc. And so many turns.

I searched under 'turns' and 'travel' and nothing conclusive in the newbie area came up. I am not sure what '2 turns' means... Is it turning 2 daily cases not yet started? Or waiting for say 2 turns of the reset of server?

I'm thinking of heading to London to try and get pugilism, but am not sure if I'm being a little premature in making that move. It just seems a useful skill since I am concentrating on tough for my interviewing.

It is 2 daily case not yet started. For example if you have 12 cases left, after you travel you will have 10, barring pirate encounters.

Thanks for that. I suspected as much. Egads pirates you say? Hmm I was hoping London wouldn't be plagued with those.

Unfortunately, pirates roam everywhere it's possible to travel, except for Shangri-La. They're permanently encamped around Cairo, but they can hit you when you least expect it. Getting pirated means you lose the money and 'turns' or cases you would have spent on that particular voyage you're getting pirated (darned pirates!!). It can happen multiple times, also. However, people who happen to have picked up the Hostage Negotiation skill along the way no longer have to worry about the bloody pirates--they just go on their merry way.

Hope that helps a bit! ;-)

Perhaps Brits ought to get Anti-Pirate Points after all - Rule Britannia, Britannia rules the waves .......
