Item stats vs item value

On completing a hard favour i needed to sell either the reward or an existing item... the thing is that both are for the same slot and do +2 charm but one is worth $800 and the other $1600.
Is there some hidden value to the more expensive one or should i just always sell the most expensive in this situation to get more cash?

If it makes no difference to your smartthen you might as well sell the more expensive piece as it makes no difference to your character which one you wear

The other option is if you have a personal taste preference for one item over another. ;-)

I agree. Image is important. Which is why I kept my grey umbrella and black leather trenchcoat for a long time. Whenever I wasn't doing a case I put those items back on. ;)
