The room was dark and smelt damp, dust caked upon every surface. I walked around, the furniture seemed solid enough at least. Reaching the windows, i attempted to clean away some of the dirt and as it fell away i was blinded by the suns rays breaking through. As my eyes adjusted, i could see over the whole of the city and a sudden rush of optimism made me tingle from head to toe.
