Now, i love to type stories, and when I read something I decieded to write a story based on sleuth, I copy and paste the story on this post each time I have alot done on it;

Sleuth

You might know me from some other cases I’ve done, The Great Hopkins Murder or The Case of the Scrambled Message, 2 of my most my famous cases. Anyway, my name is 48484848, or 48 for short. And this is my story of my friends and me in the most difficult case ever. I still haven’t worked on a name.

“Oh, darn!” I said backing out of my desk, I had bumped my knee when getting to my papers on a drawer, it’s not that I’m always mad when I get hurt, it’s just that I was cranky, I went to sleep to late and woke up to early. “Ok, ok, clam down now I need to look at these papers.” I told myself breathing in and out. “Hu, that’s weird, Amelia said that the suspect had an air tight alibi.” Amelia was my boss, here. I worked in 2 different places, here at the district offices, and in an agency called JTO. “Better go talk to her.” And I left my office. “Hi, 48 how’s progress?” said Amelia has I walked into her office. “Jack Herman as a fake alibi, not an air tight one!” I said trying to keep my cool. “No, he has an air tight alibi like I had said.” “What are you doing to me?! Trying to steer me in the wrong direction again!” I blew it. “Look, if you’re referring to that case, put it behind you ok?” “That’s not your job, to put me in a different direction so that you can solve the case yourself.” I left Amelia in her office before she could answer. I just knew I blew it, but she didn’t take to hard like usual, was she hiding something?

How hurt I felt seeing that room totally destroyed. Devastated I tell you. This wasn’t going to be easy. I wondered how my friends were doing, I didn’t know if they started as early as I did. The Mayor came into the room with a metal detector. “Why’d you bring that?” “You’ll need it.” That answer made me suspicious did he know more than he was letting on? “Well, start looking.” He said. Some how I didn’t feel like I could trust him. Despite my thoughts I looked anyway. Was he expecting me to find something or not find anything? I got on my hands and knees and started to crawl, the mayor examined my every move. I didn’t want him to see me find something important. I don’t know why, I just didn’t. I noticed that the longer I toke the more restless he got. He started to look at the walls and the ceiling and the bed. I realized that he did want me to find something so I went to the bed, his eyes lit up. Bingo! I was right and there on the top I saw the body and a hair, I got out a bag and put it in. Now I checked in the drawers, this made the Mayor tense as if he didn’t want me to. I shut all the drawers to relax him, not reveling the second clue I found, mail from the Order of Socrates, and The Eastern Trades. I quickly put them in my large pocket and got up. “I didn’t find anything but the hair.” I said looking disappointed. “Oh, at least you can still find the culprit right?” he asked. “Yes of course.” I assured him. “We’ll I’ve got to go and start working.” I said walking out of the room. “On the railing I saw a hair matching the other hair I found. Something told me that the Mayor was trying to through me off the track, but I couldn’t jump to conclusions or I could be saying hello to Shady and bye-bye 10,000 bucks. I left the house to get started on my work.
