Well, this is an idea I have had for a while now. Basically, this would list your detective's accomplishments and/or failures (whether basic or advanced)in a dossier file which would be found on your detective page.

Certain labels would be....

Bookworm: Having able to get and read the 13 books in Sleuthville.
Phoenix: Unluckily getting detective retired, and reactivated.
Politician: After being able to gain top spot in every Faction.
Confidence Man: Getting a complete set of contacts in all Cities.
Lucky Loots: Successfully solving the last favor in a Treasure Hunt.
Silver Spoon: Bribed Shady a hundred times.
Ambidextrous: Acquired all the skills in the game.
Sleuth Express: Delivered 500 packages.
Tome Nazi: Reobtaind 500 books for the Library in London.
Tracker: Successfully completed a Villain Hunt.
Master Tracker: Successfully completed 10 Villain Hunts.
Expert Tracker: Successfully completed 50 Villain Hunts.
Gumshoe: When reaching 1,000,000 exp.
Battered Shoe: When reaching 10,000,000 exp.
Old Shoe: When reaching 50,000,000 exp.
Procrastinator: Being idle and not able to spend a total of 100 daily turns in a row.
Tale Weaver: Authors of Scripted and Featured Mysteries.
Co-conspirators: Editors and Moderators of Sleuth.
Vista Bonita: Winners of Beauty Contests.
Colorful Past: Winners of Biography contests.
Yakker: Getting 1,000 posts on the Message boards.
Insurance Salesman: By getting on the ignore list of 10 people.

Notice its not all positive, heck, I wouldnt want to get the Phoenix/Procrastinator or Insurance Salesman labels. The dossier file will give both new and old players alike goals to achieve regardless of exp level. Although we already have goals like these in our mind, the vanity inside some of us might want to have these accomplishments documented somewhere for other people to view or just for personal satisfaction, what better than a Dossier file to compile them all up. What do you guys think?

I thin any development to Sleuth would be hard work but I know Ben is always on the look out for new ideas so keep the comments comming....

I shudder at how many things on that list I qualify for.

I don't know that I like being a battered shoe, but its a cute idea for sure.

I'm not so sure about using the title 'Dunce' for quitting cases - since quitting cases is preferable to false accuses. Perhaps a 'Dunce' would be one who got a certain amount of false accuses, and your 1000 quit cases would make you something that doesn't mean you acted stupidly. Just my take on it. :-)

I do think it's (overall) a neat idea, though!

Yeah actually, it does seem like a good idea; I agree with Anika re 'dunce'; I don't know if Ben has the wherewithal to calculate some of these things; but overall one of the nicer ideas I've read in a long time.

I definately like this idea. And given long enough, I'm sure I could add quite a few titles to it. Off the top of my head comes: Director (for those that have held that position), and Founder (for those who have opened up their own agency). The fact that both of those would be listed on my own personal dossier is irrelevant, so pay it no mind. :)

This is an awesome idea. Maybe there could be titles for people who get all of a certain kind of PE contact. Like people who have barber contacts in every city.

Yep. The nicest thing about this is because of the competetiveness and ingenuity of the Sleuth players, there is always one more category that we can think of and find.

I also agree that Dunce is too harsh lol, so it could be changed to maybe hmm...

Better Safe Than Sorry: 1,000 quit cases.

Also adding in Snoop977's suggestion,

Afflicted with Hirsutism: Getting all Barber contacts.
Imelda Marcos: Getting all Podiatrist contacts.
Pen is Mightier than the Sword: Getting all Handwriting contacts.
Fashion Conscious: Getting all Tailor contacts.
Gullible Flock of Nostradamus: Getting all Fortune Teller contacts.
Barhopper: Getting all Bartender contacts.
Glutton: Getting all Restaurant contacts.

Big Winner: For ones who win 100,000 or more at the Shanghai racetrack.

I wonder what the Sleuth Gods would think of the idea. Any comment would be nice really whether positive or negative, since its a purely objective idea, just something that would reinvigorate the community and keep them occupied in between the daily cases, Treasure Hunts and AVH.

This idea has legs... heopefuly we'll get some feedback from Ben to see if it's feasable! RE the contacts... bit late for the huge majority of us to focus on that!

Insurance Salesman: By getting on the ignore list of 10 people.

Gullible Flock of Nostradamus: Getting all Fortune Teller contacts.

Hillarious!! Its a great idea!

I thought Imelda Marcos was famous for big sleaves on her dresses. Can someone explain the podiatrist conection?
