I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.

1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?

2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?

3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?

Thanks
-Ben

Hi, I've been playing for a while and the game is great fun I'm hooked too, cannot wait to subscribe. I think is neither too easy nor too hard, it just depends on the level, the harder the level the more fun it is! I also have a suggestion, why not (for those really good detectives)at some point have a chance to choose their reward or even bill their clients as real detectives do(perhaps using sweet talking or rule bending, flirting etc.)? It's a great game, thank you!

1)Very nice to play when i don't have to much homework

2)I would like to be able to join an agency without having to subscribe as my father doesn't let me subscribe for the game and i want to enjoy the game a bit more by working in a group, you could make it harder for me to get skill points and experience then but at least let me join an agency.

3)I found beginner to be faity easy with every kind of character i started playing, but then i think that the gap between easy and intermediate; and intermediate to hard is too large, like, my character can very easily solve easy and beginner crimes, but intermediate get harder and hard ones are close to impossible for me.

1. Fun game, though sometimes repetitive (how many bloody bodies can stick out 'the most' in one person's mind...j/k ;-)

2. I would really like to be able to change my detective but keep the same name. ... Also, what exactly does the shady character do? I always have to leave before we cause a problem ;-).
I seem to have a 3 case a day limit (I saw many people talking about 5)...I think 5 is much more reasonable, even without subscribing.
I especially like doing cases for favors...maybe add those more often?

3. The game is not too hard. I skipped through the early levels fairly quickly, but intermediate cases do take time, and hard cases definitely require more skills. I think the difficulty level is great.

Is it possible to sell items once they have been stored in the equipment locker??

This is just an offhand comment, not anything major. But I was wondering if it would be better, when listing the members of an agency, to have the director(s) on top of the list followed on the way down. It just seems to follow the standard I guess.

I see you've actioned the previous post already, in typical fashion!

1) It is really fun. It can be repetitive, but it is kind of compulsively repetitive.

2) More things to do, I suppose - but I can't think of any good ideas at the moment!

3) Once you can solve 'ridiculously hard' cases with reasonable regularity, it gets a little routine. Perhaps you could have a level beyond/instead where you can't depend on the number of suspects and/or the number of real/fake alibis. More types of evidence (DNA from an old/young person or something)? More townspeople? Oh dear, do I sound like a hungry baby bird? I do think this game is great!

I agree with Evita on the concept of a further level, but would like to ask for even more! (Greedy me)
What would be realy great, and, incidentally, would probably require a gameplay change, is if these levels beyond ridiculously hard would come with their own set of skills, accessable only when you solve at least one ridiculously hard case. These skills would then tackle the new physical evidence, DNA, murder weapon, that kind of thing, and of course be ridiculously hard to get, I'm thinking somewhere along the 20 or 30 skill points. If these cases would somehow contribute to something akin to the treasure hunts, that would be realy great, but also ask for a even more thourough rewrite I fear. Well, maybe something to think about as the game grows...

OK, I've had a think about improvements and there are two aspects of the game that could be used more. The first is motive - it's only ever a problem with your client, everyone else automatically has a motive when you first hear about them, and the other is the 'ask if you have heard anything' question, since it may save a little time but it doesn't save any valuable questions before clamming.

Suggestions: characters could be introduced without motive somehow (the simplest being that when a townsperson mentions someone you don't know about yet, they appear in the list but without a motive). Perhaps you could find suspects at the fortune teller etc., or ask the fortune teller if they have heard anyone talking about the case. Then they could appear to you, but without a motive so far.

Alternatively, if a townsperson says that so-and-so thinks they know who the murderer is, that could earn you an extra question ffrom so-and-so, to make it worth asking the townsperson.
