I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.

1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?

2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?

3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?

Thanks
-Ben

Yes, I can add some kind of broadcast PM option.

Considering the fact that I seem to have an endless number dentist appointments lately, I think I can safely say that Sleuth is infinitesimally more fun than the dentist.

I'd like to sign the above petition (to put faction effects on the case summary page) suggested by BurghThing.

Well... I already read a lot of pages here, so far I'm at 2005-01-24 and I've been here for at least an hour... I'm tired. :))

I'm gonna leave my sugestion here, weather it has been given before or not. I read a lot of stuff of people trying to work around the thing about getting smart gear from the locker and returning it after using, ideas like "unlogoffable items" or "forensic agent"... I think we are looking for a solution for the wrong problem. The real trouble is that people are not encouraged to use smart gear because they are helpful only at crime scene or lab analysis.

I think it would be great if some clues just popped out from the case because you have passed through a smart test while asking witnesses or townies... and this is just one idea for the problem I stated.

Plz let me know if I'm saying nonsense here, if this was already proposed or if it's already a solved issue, because I just couldn't read this whole message board and I'm still a newbie.

Ahn... and sorry for the bad English... I have never left Brazil. :)

I understand what you are saying Iury. I think that's a good idea. I'll try to see how I could work something like that into the game.

Haha good for you Iury I didn't even bother to read anything in the middle, just first and last pages. :-D I think Sleuth is one of the coolest internet games I've ever played (especially as far as role-playing goes) and I love how you can actually play for free if you want to...although I will add that after subscribing I never want to unsubscribe! I think the expansion was way cool and adds a nice level of difficulty that wasn't there previously...like I could definitely see how I could get bored after a while playing in just the regular old Sleuth but with four cities to explore, I think I have plenty of time for a new expansion before I think about getting bored. :-D Iury has a really good point that would make the game maybe a bit more interactive...I wonder even if there could be things like the little jobs that could be fixed so that you have to actually type in an answer rather than multiple choice? Anyhoo way to go Ben!

Re: Iury's post and Ben's response:

Ohhhhhhh noooooooooooo! Are we going to have to wear smarts gear in the middle of the game more often now? Wasn't surveillance bad enough? Isn't traveling enough of a pain already? No lockers? No hangers?! How will I cope?

Please make it questions to answer, not gear? Pretty please?

Ben:
I was very glad to read I gave you a good idea. I'm looking forward to any improves on that matter.

Moonshh:
I wasn't thinking about no locker... the locker would still be useful to save those items you're not willing to get rid of and to save some gear for the new agents that often join the agency. :)

Meglet:
That's a great idea, although I would hardly get those little jobs done if that should be implemented. :))) Maybe a better prize should be awarded to someone that gets the higher level with a political faction after this!
