I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.

1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?

2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?

3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?

The female suspects were:
Jeanette, Daughter (the murderess)
Osberta, Friend (real alibi)
Ruby, Neighbor (no evidence)
Tabitha, Loan Shark (real alibi)
Cher, Lover (real alibi)

So, I don't see a bug.

I doublechecked Osberta, and what I had on my screen was a fake alibi. Believe me, I checked that before posting something so that I didn't look like a complete moron.

Apparently not well enough though.

If a suspect clams up before they answered about their alibi, that is not considered a "none" alibi.

A "none" alibi is when a suspect replies "It's none of your business, but I don't have an alibi." And then after that, the case file will label the suspect as "Alibi: None".

Is that what is causing the confusion? The misinterpretation of what is meant by "none alibi"?

Because I have never encountered a case with the said bug ever? :)???

Sorry, MegAmy, I don't see how you can double check (and confirm) that they had a "fake alibi" when you say that they clammed on the alibi. A fake alibi is not the same thing as you not knowing whether or not they have one.

Sorry.....confusing myself slightly, by misreading my notes later. Shorthand is fine for a moment, but later...yikes!

My point is that I've never seen an innocent person, with both pieces of evidence, even with them clamming up on the alibi question.

The combination of evidence & no/fake alibi is what you're looking for. In most situations, 3 pieces of evidence pointing towards the same person is a pretty good indicator too, but you can't be sure until you confirm they have no valid alibi.

It is commonplace to have innocent people with two or more pieces of evidence pointing towards them. Alibi/no alibi is the key. Alibi/ no alibi is much more important than the number of evidence towards different people. (And by "no alibi" I mean exactly what Wayne says above. I do not simply mean "the absence of a verified real alibi".)

I do think this is where the misunderstanding is, MegAmy :)

I know, I know. Just because they don't say jack, doesn't mean that they don't have a valid alibi. *pout* :)

You definitely aren't the only one to think that was happening MegAmy, so don't feel bad about it. Thanks for taking the time to check.

When it comes down to it, the game can be inherently confusing, and I think that's part of what makes it fun. I think it is particularly easy to make a mistake if you are flying through several cases in a row. On a few occasions, I have caught myself getting mixed up as to whether somebody said something in the last case, or my current one.

I'm going to leave the expanded tracking on for a few more days. After that, I'll have to turn it off to conserve disk space. So please, if anybody else runs into a case they think is bugged, let me know.
