I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.

1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?

2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?

3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?

Are you saying that a person with a fake alibi and a piece of evidence pointing to them can be innocent?
I believe you are mistaken. Such a thing never occured to me.
Did you actually verify that their alibi was fake??

Yes, same as kouraditsa.

A person with false (or none) alibi and evidence pointing to them will always be the killer. That's what I've experienced so far, too.

Sometimes, when I accuse wrongly, I realise it's because I had taken the wrong notes. If not, then it could be a bug.

Also, the real killer definitely has evidence pointing to him or her. It's just that they might not have been recovered at the crime scene, or because suspects clam up before you have asked them the questions pointing to the right killer.

I've never seen any case where an innocent person has both a fake or non-existant alibi and evidence pointing towards them. The few times that I have investigated claims of that being the case, the person who thought it was happening turned out to be mistaken. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but if it is, it is so rare, that it would be very unlikely to happen to somebody more than once in the space of a few days.

I've had a couple cases now where the person I've accused had 1 piece of physical evidence, 1 piece of witness evidence, and a fake alibi, and still was the wrong person. I just figured I hadn't come up with the right evidence. (In on instance, the witness evidence was given by the real killer, so obviously these guys can lie!)

That is very strange news indeed. I can't say I've EVER encountered a case where a person with no/fake alibi and a piece of evidence towards them was not the killer. I have, of course, accused wrongly at times, but most of the times I've been able to track down a mistake in my notes after spending a few minutes thoroughly puzzled.

I've come across those cases. Usually the guilty party will have 1 piece of physical, and 2 pieces of witness evidence, and the "red herring" will have 1 physical, and 1 witness.

OK, the next time you think you see this happen, let me know the mystery title.

I have changed the system to fully track mysteries that end in a false accusation. Usually, the game doesn't hold onto all this stuff, because it takes up a lot of harddrive space.

As I said, I have done this before on two occasions when players claimed that they were running into innocent suspects who had both an invalid alibi and some kind of evidence pointing towards them. In both cases, the player turned out to be mistaken. If there is a bug, however, I would definitely love to find it.

I just had one that had witness evidence pointing to one person, physical evidence pointing to a second, and I found no evidence pointing to the person that actually commited the crime.

I'm sure that's more of a problem with me, rather than the game. :)

Sure, in every single case (beyond the easiest levels at least) you get evidence pointing to innocent people as well as to the quitly party. Also, sometimes you do fail to find any evidence pointing to the guilty party.

The weird thing would be to find evicence on an innocent person

Please excuse my disbelief. It's just that after hundreds of mysteries, I'm yet to come across this myself.

Found a case like that (I think last week)

I had 1 piece witness evidence, 1 piece physical, they didn't have an alibi, and they were innocent.

Personally, I'm not too worried about it. After awhile, you really can't expect to get every single mystery right! I may well have been sluething out of my league at the time.
