There are a number of brave souls who are willing to put their own fizzog on as their character avatar, but many of us have formed an attachment for other peoples faces. My own is of Nigel Bruce, descendant of Robert the Bruce, who was Sherlock Holmes' sidekick Watson in many of the early films.

This is actually me (Adam), as my alter ego Directore. The evil arch nemesis of Stuntman. Stuntman (My mate Steve) took this shot. It was taken as a series of shots (birthday pressie) for another friend Demelza, who's alter ego was Stuntgirl...we had overactive imaginations... muah ahahahahaah.
