Riddle:
A man was found murdered on Sunday morning. His wife immediately called the police. The police questioned the wife and staff and got these alibis:
The Wife said she was sleeping. The Cook was cooking breakfast. The Gardener was picking vegetables. The Maid was getting the mail. The Butler was cleaning the closet.
The police instantly arrested the murdered. Who did it and how did they know?

@ the first riddle... does she shoot a photograph of him then develop it?
@ the second riddle... I don't believe that the mail come on sunday so one would assume the maid was guilty

No legs have I to dance, No lungs have I to breathe, No life have I to live or die and yet I do all three.
What am I?

Guess who/what?
I never was, am always to be,
No one ever saw me, nor ever will
And yet I am the confidence of all
To live and breathe on this terrestrial ball...

Riddle:
An old man wanted to leave all of his money to one of his three sons, but he didn't know which one he should give it to.
He gave each of them a few coins and told them to buy something that would be able to fill their living room. The first man bought straw, but there was not enough to fill the room. The second bought some sticks, but they still did not fill the room. The third man bought two things that filled the room, so he obtained his father's fortune.
What were the two things that the man bought?

Riddle:
A man went on a trip with a fox, a goose and a sack of corn. He came upon a stream which he had to cross and found a tiny boat to use to cross the stream.
He could only take himself and one other - the fox, the goose, or the corn - at a time. He could not leave the fox alone with the goose or the goose alone with the corn. How does he get all safely over the stream?

I believe the first one is fire.... and I have no idea as to the others save the last riddle which I believe goes like this... Man takes goose, goes back, takes fox and replaces goose on first side, takes corn to fox side, goes back and takes goose again and they all end on the other side.

You go in through one hole, you come out through three holes. Once you're inside you're ready to go outside, but once you're outside you're still inside. What is it?
