The cases are really easy now that I got the hang of it. I was wondering do you get higher rewards for solving a case the higher the level you play on. I was thinking about switching to easy. I want to build up my money though so I can purchase more skills. I almost prefer to keep working on the level I am working for just that purpose.

Be careful though. My character suddenly is unable to do 1 level below the max and gets stuck hard even 2 levels below. If you have a way to loosen the tongues of both witnesses and townspeople, you'll do fine, as long as you keep the bonuses on them high.
EX: if you are charming, keep your charm bonus as high as possible.
if you are interrogating or intimidating, keep your tough bonus as high as possible.

Mine is the very smart type and thus has problems with witnesses and townspeole clamming-up. Don't forget to start doing favors as soon as you can reasonably handle the intermediate level. One of mine could from the get go and one could not.

I am finally playing up to Really Really Hard but have only played one case at that level.... I might have the experience points but people are clamming too much, I need more skills before I can move up more.

If a certain level I am winning consistantly I think try the next highest level.
