The cases are really easy now that I got the hang of it. I was wondering do you get higher rewards for solving a case the higher the level you play on. I was thinking about switching to easy. I want to build up my money though so I can purchase more skills. I almost prefer to keep working on the level I am working for just that purpose.

The experience points, skill points and money are all higher the higher the level of game. I ususally found that working one below the max was usually solvable with my skills. It is much easier when you join an agency, because you can save the case and get help.

Yes ... you are paid more money and experience points with harder cases. Also, as you gain experience you earn fewer skill points on the easier cases.

Also, just a word of warning ... the more experience points you earn, the more $$$ the shady character charges you to erase false accusations from your record.

thank you very much for your advice. I probally will try the easy level. I can't join an agency because I am not a subscriber. When I do subscribe I will most likely look into that.

You should play around one level below the max available to you as elenwonder had mention. but not level that are too easy. as your exp points increase u may realise that playing a level thats too easy will not get u any skill points just money and exp. points.

Be careful though. My character suddenly is unable to do 1 level below the max and gets stuck hard even 2 levels below. If you have a way to loosen the tongues of both witnesses and townspeople, you'll do fine, as long as you keep the bonuses on them high.
EX: if you are charming, keep your charm bonus as high as possible.
if you are interrogating or intimidating, keep your tough bonus as high as possible.

Mine is the very smart type and thus has problems with witnesses and townspeole clamming-up. Don't forget to start doing favors as soon as you can reasonably handle the intermediate level. One of mine could from the get go and one could not.

I am finally playing up to Really Really Hard but have only played one case at that level.... I might have the experience points but people are clamming too much, I need more skills before I can move up more.

If a certain level I am winning consistantly I think try the next highest level.
