Lady Jas had a technical malfunction with her mouse that resulted in her getting three false accusations (one of the perils of using a laptop computer). A lot of good people have rallied around her, but she has just lost a detective with oversix million xp.

I realise that there are many who know Lady Jas better, but I would just like to lend my support to a request for having her detective re-instated. Please feel free to add your condolences and support below.

Thankyou.

mm.. while i feel bad for Jas.. we have all had to retire characters..I dont mind the system the way it is. I have had to start over a few times. it sucks. but those are the rules.. we all know them.

And i will have to admit that i havent ever had as many experience points as Jas but still i was well on my way... I do like the idea of more FA's but like ben said it isnt just one click that accuses someone. i know Jas wouldnt lie. But really people that is leaving ben up with alot of people sending him pms. I just dont know if we want to open ourselves up to this.

Just an idea: we can establish a fund to help detectives with, say, 5 mil xp plus to pay Shady if they don't have enough money to pay him themselves. The detectives could donate either money or their AV prizes to the fund. Every detective with required xp could use that chance once. The fund would have at least 3 trustees from different agencies who would guarantee that there are no malversations. And, if the worst happens and the detective is retired, we can found a special agency where the volunteers would solve AI cases and help with the rebuilding of a new character.

The only thing I have to say about this is that most agencies have a "retirement fund" that they will let you borrow from to pay off Shady. I have used it (more times than I care to admit!) and paid it back in installments when I got the money.

Just a thought that crossed my mind.....

Experienced players keep building up skill points without ever be able to use them once you collected all possible skills available. Could it be somehow possible to create a "resurrection skill" you can learn somewhere deep down in the catacombs of the pyarmids? With certain limits of course......it would be a one time thing, or more times if you can trade more skill points with a maximum of 9 lives. After all.....cats were worshipped in ancient Egypt :-)))

This is just a rough idea, anyone who can up with a more refined outline is more than welcome.

Great idea BadAss! You could buy an extra "life" for so many skill points after you reach a certain amount of XP. I think the number of skill points required would need to be high to maintain the "edge" of risk.

I just want to point out this skill would only erase ONE false accusation. Suppose you get a third one and use that special skill.....it would only remove the last FA but the two former ones still stand to keep you on the edge.

ooooooooh

I love that idea! I am just piling up skill points with nothing to spend them on. Since the expansion is done, I would love to have something to spend them on. Even if you make it super expensive, points wise.

Something more to look foward too. After you've done Villian Hunting, gotten all your skills, and bought all the gear. And an apartment. A "resurrection" skill.

I like this idea Badass. What to do with all those pointless err skill points? Even if you could erase one FA regardless of whether it was 1, 2 or retirement 3 with say 20 skill points, you could even open the skill up at 5,000,000 XP or 365 days whichever came first.
