Ok,
I have trouble with using Sweet talking on women, and as I am not a tough archtype I have trouble with Interregation also, and have a -1 on tough..

Any advice to get the women to talk more? I am +4 on smarts and +4 on charm.

All agents have trouble with suspects and townspeople who are the same sex as them, it's built into the game.

My advice would be to get the best equipment that you can, and get advanced sweet talking as soon as you can--it will help. But, even at the hardest levels and with the best skills and equipment, sometimes you will only be able to get one question out of same-sex people. Good luck!

Judge of character is mostly useful if you have f.ex. sweet talking and interrogation at the same level and/or rule bending and intimidation - BUT to keep leveling those skills all the way up to the advanced kinds will only make you advance more slowly in terms of case levels.

So nope - judge of character is not worth using points on at the moment since it won't help you make the suspects more cooperative in terms of advancing to the higher levels - it's much better for your type of character to focus on getting the advanced charm skills like sweet talking and rule bending :)

If it works out, I always try to get all of the motives I need out of my male suspects. With my "flirting" skill, I am able to get all of the information I need from them without them clamming up. Plus, I don't have to waste a question on the women and worry about them clamming up before I get their alibi. I have the advanced sweet talking skills, too, which obviously helps ... but I haven't had anyone clam up on me before I got all of the information I needed since I starting using that strategy.

Clarice- I JUST started doing that! And then read your post.. it does work better that way.. the questioning the men about motives first :).
maybe I should just pick up a Gun for the women LOL
