Hello experienced friends,
I'm a relatively new subscriber and was wonering if there is anywhere that I can find out exactly how many experience points I need to earn a skill point. I know it changes as you get more exp points, and I'm trying to get those expensive skills now. But knowing how far I have to stretch for that goal would be nice.
Thanks guys.

I don't believe anyone has ever offered a definitive answer to how skill points are acquired. All we know for sure is that they become pregressively more and more experience points between, and that at some point that "caps out" to around 50,000 xp per skill point.

I use the 'a watched pot never boils' approach... if I don't sweat over skill points and just do my cases and let it all happen they seem to come quicker :)

I don't know the earlier formulas, but around 350K, you cap out at 40K per skill point.

I know it is sooner then that as I know at least my last 2 skill point were 40K so its no more then 300Kwhen it maxes out

At the moment you'll probably get 1 skill point for around every 320 exp. - or there abouts :)
