Thanks, Evita! We were incredibly lucky yesterday with how our favors fell.

Now a hunt has been solved in only 32 minutes from start to finish! While impressive, it is beginning to get demoralising. Is a tweak to the system required?

Making fast work of a hunt is nothing to be suspicious of, and really is only an indication of great teamwork and communication. We can't cry 'foul' everytime a player or a team does well. Ultimately, this type of teamwork should be every agency's goal. There have been several hunts won quickly by various agencies. I for one congratulate those who have their 'stuff' together.

But I know what Evita means. Its nice to have hunts stick around long enough so that folks who's play time doesn't happen to coincide with 12:06 or 00:06 still have a chance of finding an active hunt that's not already 85% done by some other agency.

I could make hunts a little harder by making them take more steps. The one drawback to that is, smaller agencies have a little better shot at solving short hunts than they do at long ones. A little good luck can win a short hunt for a small agency quickly. A longer hunt makes it more likely that luck won't overcome a larger agency's advantage in number of agents.

Has any more thought gone into having smaller agencies compete against each other and larger agencies compete seperate? This would sure help the smaller agencies.

Why don't we just eliminate hunts altogether?

I find it interesting that some agencies want to stay small and still have all the advantages of the larger agencies. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Having and keeping a large agency is VERY HARD WORK, but there are obvious rewards for that. I am supportive of the smaller agencies, but if you want to run with the big dogs, you have to come out from under the porch!

my question - relating to Bens other post about unlimited cases - did any of those relate to the quickly solved hunts? If so, it shouldnt be a problem now..

Yesterday I opened a hunt, and since my spouse and I share Goldfinger, and we've brought in another character to help our agency, this gives me three characters in which to solve cases and three chances in getting favors to the hunts. Also, I have permission to use three other Agent's characters, when they are not online. So yesterday, each of the agents had the keys needed, all except for the last one, and if it hadn't of been for an interruption, I would have solved this hunt on my on in a short amount of time, which proves to me it can be done if the keys falls into place. Anyway, congratulations to "The Undergrounde Detectives," Oh yes, I don't recommend working on treasure hunts all alone..hehe. It's too much work..hehe, but hey it was fun.
