White Parrot question

(AraLives here, stuck in Shangri-La till tomorrow.)
Right, so I chose the White Parrot as my reward for my latest AVH. Her name is Coco, and she bites. Anyway, her stats are +7 charm -1 smarts. But her description reads: "More clever than your average Parrot, this beautiful creature is not only smart enough to speak, but also smart enough to know when not to. " Shouldn't the stats show a postive bonus for smarts, instead of a negative? I ask because I'm quite sure she and Phoebe (our bloodhound) won't get along and I'd hate to leave them in the agency together while I'm out hunting.....

Well if Coco would mess with Phoebe that could be the reason why the -1 for smarts right there.

I think Coco could take Phoebe in a heartbeat, I myself have tussled with Phoebe and she's ALL BARK...

Seriously, this parrot is SO smart--she's already tipped me off twice to who the murderer was. I *really* think she deserves a smart point or two, especially with that description! Ben? *grovels*
