Forgive this (stupid) question, but what exactly is role-playing in the agencies? I've seen it mentioned several times. (I know, I know, Sleuth is an RPG, but still...) Do you interact with each other as the detective you've created, complete with your own *interesting* personality? Do you get sent to the broom closet if you break character? :) Just curious...

I am going to move this post I think, seems like more of a Gumshoe post than a Sleuth Talk post as it has evolved.
