Registration is NOW being accepted for the October 10th beta test of the Dart Leagues in the AVL ("Arch Villain League").

I need 36 volunteers total to test everything, with the following stipulations:

2 sets of 6 detectives from the same agency (6 Hitchhikers & 6 Sirens, for example)

4 sets of 3 detectives from the same agency (3 Omega, 3 Blood & Dagger, 3 Fat Kitten, 3 SMRT Investigations, for example)

2 sets of 3-man teams regardless of agency affiliation

6 testers who will be teamed up at random.

If you are interested in learning about the AVL or becoming a Beta-Tester, please go to:

www.liquidkourage.net/sleuth

for more information.

If you have already talked to me about being a beta-tester, please PM me for your favlidation code.

Count you in for what Melanie1, as Ara just said, you can not do villain hunts yet, but when you can we would be happy to see you join the AVL and competing in matches.

Anyone and everyone who can do a villain hunt is welcome to come and have fun while chasing down those big bad villains.

Well, I'm not going to participate in hunts with a team. The AVL is a great idea, but for some reason my detective always gets stuck spending 2 or 3 days in one city getting the same clues over and over so there is really no since in me playing. When I'm by myself its not a big deal, but when a team is couting on me to complete a hunt on time, its not fair to let them down. This last time I'm stuck in Shaingai. 18 cases. 6 West of Bank, 3 E of Race track, 7 North of Race track and 2 quits and I'm still not out of here. Getting the same clues a couple of times is ok, getting the same clues 13 times just takes all the fun out of it. I hope this changes in the future so the AVL will become fun for everyone.

I hear you roamie, thats happened to all of us from time to time. There have also been times where you bus through in two or three days though. I hope you'll reconsider the AVL at some point, unfortunately the randomness of the hunt is part of the game itself.

Roamie, we currently have several different forms of competition in the works; many of which are individual competitions.

Unfortunately, in order to reach the appropriate level to compete in those match systems, you must earn experience by competing in the Dart League.

I understand you not wanting to "drag" a team down with your bad hunting luck. However, public matches are set up from time to time where any player can join any team at any time; no team captains, no invitations, all spots are considered "public".

Hopefully this will alleviate your concerns about team play.

Thanks for the info Biggie and Serges. I'll keep checking out the AVL site and seeing what else if available for individual competitors. And if my "bad hunting luck" ever turns around, I think the team option will be alot of fun.
