Same premise as the into it/not into it thing.

Read a choice. Make a choice. Post a choice.

Hmmm. Being turned into hamburger helper by road rash or having my nose broken by the air bags. What a choice.

I choose the car with a broken nose. I'm more likely to live and my nose needs a new shape anyway. They even tell me i'll breathe better afterwards!

Ok. Missed that reference about the Frenchman, and if you're referring to me, my background is Swiss.

As to the question at hand, I think I prefer the Firebird, both the Russian version, the Greek or Roman Phoenix, and even the latest reincarnation in the Harry Potter series. Not really sure i'm up for the workout needed to chop off eight more heads every time i manage to get one or whatever it was.

And if you're the punctured Frenchman, you have to learn not to take things so personally. I promise i didn't ask just to have you knock yourself off.

Skateboard or rollerblades?

Skateboard. More area to stand on.

As for the Pierre, he was taking my place and when he revealed to you that he was French, I shot him.

I know that serious Western fans will probably say Stewart, but the first Westerns I saw by either were with Wayne, so I'm going with him. Also, the old movie channels have been running 'Rio Bravo' recently, and it's actually entertaining enough to drag me away from the main networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, etc.) without much work. Although a tug of war between it and PBS is pretty even.

In the same vein, Zane Grey or Louis L'Amour? (I know, WHO is the first one again?)

Um...Louis L'Amour because he has an awesome quote:

One day I was speeding along at the typewriter, and my daughter - who was a child at the time - asked me, "Daddy, why are you writing so fast?" And I replied, "Because I want to see how the story turns out!"

Jazz or Blues?

That's tough. I like them both. Jazz does make for good bookstore ambiance, and blues is good for when you feel awful. Since I usually feel that way, I pick blues.

Having "6 months" to live, or dying without knowing? (ex: while sleeping, sniper bullet, etc)
