I guess no one will read this far who hasn't solved these yet or who isn't interested in a spoiler, BUT it would be good to put a spoiler alert on the original thread heading or talk about this privately, in my opinion. There have been a few deleted threads about Doomsayers, possibly because they all ended up revealing too much, too publicly.
That said, I just solved these all for the first time this week. I got them all on the first try, but I know that is due to some extent on my gear and skills. My main problem with FM's is that, like Orb, I don't always know when they are over and it is time to accuse! I also don't keep track of them as some others do (or remember them very well), so I am probably not much help aside from thinking maybe your new character just doesn't have the skill level to continue at this time? And of course, Doomsayer III is harder still, so I would counsel you to wait until your detective is a little older and wiser.

I'm going to ask one more time and then I'll give up : ( I have most of my interview skills, including some added bonuses such as Pugilism and Flirting. I'm a little light on the townspeople skills, but my contacts have helped me out that's why I've waiting on getting some of those. But I don't think that's the problem. I haven't gotten to the point where anyone has clammed on me. If I did, I would understand. I literally get to the point where there are no more questions to ask. I tried 10 times. Different order of actions and everything.
My last detective that I solved all three with had much less than what I have now.
I also followed the exact steps given to me in a PM by someone else who had solved it and I didn't get the same result they did.
I really think it's broken... Like it doesn't know that I solved the first one. I am saying this because I remember the first time getting a different response from one of the characters who also appeared in The Prisoner. hehehe or is that me trying to justify my own stupidity.
