I don't know how many of you may have gotten to know Emerald Drew, but circumstances require that I inform you of her situation. As of this writing, Emerald is about to undergo brain surgery to repair a broken shunt from a previous operation. She's been courageously battling Multiple Sclerosis her entire life, and this just complicates things. She's brave, but I know from my conversation with her about an hour ago, she's in fear for her life.
If any of you know her, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers (if you pray). She's a fierce competitor, a loyal agent, and a friend to all. ERF TEAM thanks you!

Update: I spoke with Em earlier today and her recuperation is not going well. She's returning to her doctor tomorrow, and is admittedly scared. Please continue your prayers and well wishes for her. She's very thankful for all that has been expressed in her behalf, and she takes those thoughts with her on her path to wellness. I, and ERF TEAM too, thank each and every single one of you...May the Almighty bless you all! (Happy Sleuthing)

Unfortunately, I have to be the bearer of bad news...Em's recuperation problems are because she has advanced to the next level of her M.S.. The prognosis is disheartening, to say the least, and she's afraid and understandably angry. She's a young 22 years old, and normally should be looking at a long, vibrant, fruitful life.
I really don't know what to say, honestly. I know you will all keep her in your thoughts, and please continue to PM her. She's going to need cheer and support now more than ever. As always, thank you all, and Happy Sleuthing from ERF TEAM.
