Detective Biography

Born to hard working parents in a suburb of Chicago, Emerald Drew grew up as an admirer of puzzles, treasure hunts, and mysteries. An avid reader, Emerald devoured every mystery she could get her hands on, and was well aware of a certain girl detective named Nancy, to whom people were always asking if she was related.

Upon the completion of college, Emerald found herself, a fresh faced journalist, ready to change the world through investigative writing. This dream soon died as she found herself behind a desk every day for years. She struggled to find a way to help people when all she saw was victims who weren't helped, criminals who were never punished, and the general corruption of the world.

Sick of it all, Emerald ran from all she had ever known and found herself as a charming and smart private investigator. Finally, this was a way she could fight for the victims and help the world. After a bit of struggling to keep her head above water, she was rescued and taken under the wing of the illustrious Chronestrian. That time has since passed by, but Emerald still remains loyal to the team she loved.

Emerald Drew finally knew that this was where she belonged. She could fight crime and stand for justice. She would stand strong against the insane, those with no morals, and those horrible, horrible two in a row birthday forgetters. Somehow, Emerald had a feeling that everything was going to be ok.
