I dont have any contacts, now that is hard,my proplem was with the shoe maker always claming up but I hardly ever quite cases most of the quited cases stuff was with "childs play" doing about 3 times before I got the right one.I also have trouble with the barber and ruby as well since I talk to them about hand writing or hair,it's nice in delhi.

My quest is to get Ruby as my New York PE contact. So far I have not succeeded, but I shall keep trying!

Ruby is a great contact. Especailly if you have handwriting anyalsis. I'm lucky enough to get her as my first contact when I started playing Sleuth. :)

Okay, I have this case with 3 threads (no other evidence). Two suspects are clammed up, another one refers to the tailor for alibi and the tailor himself clams up after the very first question. How am I supposed to solve this or are there cases that are supposed to be unsolvable?

No case is unsolvable. However, sometimes you have to quit cases since you do not have the contacts. It helps if you are in an agency where they can help you unclam suspects or use their contacts to confirm alibies and evidence.
It seems you would need to quit this one...
