okay, so squirrels 'Now is the winter of our discotheque' bit over on the pub quiz thread pretty much had me sneezing my soup out laughing. It reminded me of misheard lyrics...I've heard these actually have a name: Mondagreens -taken from some poem or sonnet or something -it's original lyric contained the phrase "...his Lord and laid him on the green". This was heard by many as "Lord and Lady Mondagreen", or so goes the legend...
Anyhoo...know any? I have a couple:
Excuse me while I kiss this guy (that would be Jimi Hendrix, and "kiss the sky")
Last night, I dreamt of some bagels (dreamt of San Pedro -Madonna- La Isla Bonita)
Bred upon a douche, another gunner in his sights (yeah...revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night...blinded by the light, etc etc)

*fills jeans with sugar for friction*
Yay friction!
*Cliff Clavin voice* it's a little known fact that John Fogerty suffered the rages of irritable bowel syndrome, so in fact the original lyric really WAS, 'there's a bathroom on the right'.
True story, I swear.
