When you pay Larry $ 500 for the location of some carabet, how do you get it? I've done it once, and nothing happened.

SoulRepaer, you can find the answer to this on the Newbie's Boards. Particulary a post called Welcome Newbie's. It also has a lot of answers to futre questions you may have.
Another good way to get to know how the game works is to check out the Moderator's Picks.
You could also check the post history of older players to see waht threads they have answered.

Teach a starving man to fish and watch him die while he tries to master the skill while you have a full basket beside you.


Soul, when you pay to find the cabaret (which is not a popular thing for many people) you are given a location. Such as in a warehouse near the docks. Move your mouse over that area of the map to find the location of the cabaret. Your cursor will change to show where you can click to enter. (alternatively Alt-A selects all the links on a page and you can see where it is on the map that way)

Lucy's is a place that most detectives only need to go to for hunting (when you are subscribed and part of an agency) or to buy some (what many consider to be overpriced) gear.

Soul, please don't waste your hard earned money on Lucy's. The merchandise is highly overpriced and the cabaret is disappointing. IMO As Ran said, the only reason for visiting her is when you're in an agency and on a hunt. I learned the hard way, as did many of us. :)
