Subscribing through PayPal...

Quick question, and maybe I'm missing somethin' here, but before I whack that Submit button for my year-long subscription, how in the world does a $36 payment from John Q. Citizen get linked to a detective here? Since I'm right up to confirming & sending the payment, and there's been no "add a note" part to the process so far, it'd be swell to know I ain't just sending money into the wind.
Thanks in advance for the enlightenment.

Do you mean donating a subscription to someone else?
Just follow the link in city hall for the subscription part. You have to indicate det name at some point, and there is a little section where you can write a message.
I have noticed that donating anonymously isn't possible via that system. :(
If it does fail for whatever reason, don't worry, I am sure these things can be corrected.

I think he means for himself. The paypal payment is linked to your detective--doesn't need a note. It's done from your Sleuth account, so must be linked that way. Have never had, or heard of, a problem with that.

Ah. In that case yeah, it just happens instantly.
