Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who's the sleuthiest of them all?
Yes, the time has come for the second annual Sleuth Avatar "Beauty" Pageant!!
It’s true, we finally finished sanding the floor and setting up the runway, and we're ready for you to name your favourite nominees for the title. It can be yourself, it can be the detective sitting next to you, it can be the guy or girl you spotted across town, we don't care as long as you nominate the person before Midnight on the 4th of June (Server time).
So comb your hair, shine your shoes, put on some rouge we'll be waiting for you :)
(Additional beauty tips can be gotten from last year's winner, Croesy).
Rules (boring I know, but it makes things easier): MAKE SURE YOU READ THEM
1) You can only enter an avatar, which is already up. If you didn't make it in time for the last batch jskdn fixed, then you'll just have to wait till next year ;)
2) Only subscribed detectives will be able to participate in the final voting – simply to avoid anyone trying to stuff the ballot box. But your votes here will influence the final nominees :)
(however, spamming, bashing and bribes won't be looked on too kindly – well, maybe bribes, especially if they contain chocolate)

The fine print:
If more than X number of people enter, we need 4 volunteer judges willing to help with the nominees for the final voting to keep things fair :)
Also to keep things fair the judges can't have entered themselves.
To facilitate the process, it would be easiest if the judges are able to be online on June 5th (unless you also have a national holiday that day and won't be able to be on, then it'll have to be the 6th) and preferably between 1 AM and 8 AM server time (alternatively 1 AM to 4 PM server time (but 1 AM to 8 AM is easier for…erhm…me)).
Oh, and please don't sign up to be a judge if you're not ready to do the work ;)

Uhm just to be clear are you only looking for judges right now? Or can we send the person we like to see nominated in already? Do you want the people that we'd like to be nominated posted here, or over PM?
I am unfortunately unable to volunteer for the 5th.

I'm looking for the nominees - post them here or send them in by PM if you prefer. Like Autumn(? - I think) mentioned in the old thread, it was kinda cool last year when someone nominated someone whom you might never have seen before yourself - then you got the chance to check out some of the other avatars around here :)

And yes, if more than 6 or 8 avatars get nominated then I will need a bit of help to cut down the list so because there is a limit to how many pictures will fit on the list - unfortunately - so I am looking for a couple of judges too, should be possible to do both at the same time I think :p

Oh, and this is not a popularity contest, it's just meant to be fun ("Beauty" is even hyphanated), to have a small event inbetween all the murder and credit some of all the crazy, funny, cool, sophisticated, atmospheric avatars around here :)
And there's even a prize to win!! :D

If you can stay completely unbiased as a judge then yes I don't see why there would be any problems with that :)
