Hi Everyone,

Question 1:
Right now I'm working with Cosa Nostra and they are offering to teach me how to do safe cracking.

I am not a paid member, and hence do not want to learn a skill that I cannot use.

I DO, however, want to learn the skill of SURVEILLANCE from Cosa Nostra. Can I only learn this skill after I learn safe cracking?

Question 2:
What skills do you learn from each faction? How many points do you need in order to learn their skills?

Thanks so much!

There is information on this in the Welcome Newbie's Thread. It's good reading and will answer a lot of questions you may have about other stuff too.

There is also a Moderator Pick called Faction FAQ or something. I suggest you check that out too.

The Welcome Newbie's Thread then Mod Picks are always a good place to start with what ever questions you have.

And just a quick word.. LCN do not have Surveillance.

Surveillance is only offered by COL overseas.

Question 1: Sorry, nhl2487, but the Surveillance skill is only available from the Circle of Light - which resides in Shanghai and Delhi. Since you aren't a paid player, you cannot travel to those destinations. So, unfortunatly, you're stuck in New York until you subscribe. La Cosa Nostra, though, is a great faction -- even though their skill will be of no use to you. Maybe try the Brotherhood or the Order? The skills they teach are for both subscribers and non-subscribers.

Question 2: Visit the "Welcome Newbies...." thread for more info... or simply copy and paste these links into your address bar.
