Dearest Ben:

I have purchased all skills offered, and the pick pocket from the Dies, whom I had good standing with. However, there's nothing available to buy, I presently own 39 buy skills. I only lack what "La Costra Nostra", has to offer, which is the Safe Cracking skill, and what "The Order of Socrates" gives, once my standing is good with either or. At the present time I'm building my standing up with La Costra, to purchase the safe cracking skills, but until I do, here is my question. Would it be possible for you to allow agents to transfer the extra buy skills they can not use, or sell them to another agent within their agency. Since I have 39 buy skills, I only need 20 of them to purchase the remaining two skills, which are with "La Costra Nostra, & The Order of Socrates." Since we're able to transfer money to each other or other agents, this would be helpful to the new agents that has joined our agency, in need of skills. I appreciate your consideration in this matter. I look forward to your reply.

To be honest, I didn't take the time to read all of DaRu's postings. I'm just responding to the first post. I'm not sure I like the idea of sharing skill points. Although it would be nice to have a few more myself because I'm still in need of several skills, I think sharing within an agency would give more established agencies an unfair advantage. If an agency has been around awhile, it may have several detectives like DaRu who don't really need accumulated skill points anymore. When they recruit rookie agents and share the skills points with the new agents, that agency will always have a full house of detectives with advanced skills. New or newer agencies will have detectives still earning points to buy skills ... and recruiting rookies with almost no skills. I think that takes the fun out of "learning" to be a detective and earning your way ... and takes the fun out of competition between agencies. All detectives should have to go through the same development of skills so skill points are truly reflective of the detectives experience and not of some other detective's experience that has been playing much longer. Plus, Ben may decide to add more advanced skills in the future so they’ll be more to buy for the established detectives.

i think skills should be earned by solving cases. in a game this equals learning. i also dont support giving agents solved cases so they can do harder ones faster, i think there is a big difference between trying and getting help with a case or getting one that some1 else solved. its ur choise ofcourse...
sharing money or gifts is another thing.
i also agree with clarice about giving a big advantage this way to "old" agencies.

Yeah, but the way I see it, you could say that they are teaching the person who receives the skills. Maybe you could only do it if you have all skills, or all non secret skills.
