I've been doing this for a while and been doing well on intermediate cases. today I tried to do a hard case and I can't get anyone to talke. the fortune teller told me i haven't talked to everyoe yet-and there's only 2 people that i haven't asked if anyone else had a motive-but each time i ask them they 'clam up' and they don't give me anything to pursuade them with. Please help!

lol i hope im coherent at this time of night...

the only other way to get more suspects is to ask the townspeople if they know anything about the case... someone might offer you another name thats not on your list. you can then ask that person if they know any more suspects to get more [if you need more]

oh try and stay away from townspeople that you need to ask questions of eg... if someone has the fortune teller as an alibi get them to answer that question first, rather than ask them if they know anythign about the case. confirming / denying an alibi is more important.

In reality i suspect the best thing to do is work with the list you've got. I think with hard cases you can have 7 or 8 suspects [see the post about the fortune teller below to see how many people roughly you have left to speak to].

perservere with what you have, and then when in doubt, quit. there's no harm in that outcome :)

Also: It may be time to start thinking about upgrading your questioning skills. People won't clam up on you as often.
