I have broadband and for the past 6 days it feels like I have dial up.
Anyone else having this problem? I think it has to do with the number of people playing at one time. One Saturday there where 97 people logged on. That's alot.

We're doing what we can about the slow speed, but the real answer lies in a hardware upgrade. That probably won't happen in the next few weeks, so for now, we're victims of our own success.

In the meantime, we've lowered the amount of advertising we do, which should help a little. I'm sorry about the hassel.

I find the speed to be quite fast, but maybe it is because I am on a college server.

It is a good thing Ben, if the increase in traffic leads to an increase in subscriptions.

More Subbs = more money = better equipment

Yep, I agree with Ranstett. We've all had far more good days than bad :)

Well, now there are only 47 people logged in and it goes extremely slow. I am seriously thinking wether I will renew my subscription or not. It's not about the money cause the fee is very low, but about the time I waste to do a few cases. And now I am in my agency town and I don't need to do cases all the way (as it is the case with hunting). Now I just identify the PE and this used to take very little time a while ago. I imagine how it would be to do 10 cases per day all the way through...

Nasty: It used to be around 20 ppl online at the same time. Now there are usually more so it is more trafic. But till Ben has money to upgrade the server it will probably stay slow at times. I know your pain :P Been doing very few cases lately cause I dont have the patiance to wait so long for the page to load.
But from the other hand if less ppl will sub or renew their subscription cause of it then there will be less money for new and improved hardware....

I have problems once in awhile, but nothing so great that I would consider not renewing my subscription(s). This game is too fun and addicting. I will admit to being spoiled for awhile, but I know it'll get better. We just need to be patient. New hardware costs a LOT.

I agree with della. ben has done so much for us. if an increased traffic flow is slowing things down for a bit, then i think we owe it to him to be patient. just my two cents...

Ben I have noticed several punctuation errors lately in the case intros where question marks and commas are appearing where they should not be.
