I think shady is a great idea for controling how well people play. But on the other hand "unsolvable" cases and human error can cause fauls acusations way to easy. I think shady should be changed for this reson. How you ask?

I think the cost should be lowered. I found myself not being able to do any cases for weeks having my agency back me on money till I could pay him off. All because of two cases were evry clue pointed to a certain person but the case said I was wrong. I spent so much money on bribes for those cases just to find out those bribes were worthless.??? Thats not right.

Also I think as your skill level incresis so should the amount of false acusations your alowed.

Fellow Sluethers, what do you think?

I think Shady prices should remain how it is. If it doesnt cost you very much to pay him, how is that going to make us be extra careful when solving a case? We need something to "teach us a lesson" , help us be more alert, and the high prices certainly do that. :)

If you were 110% sure you had the right one as the guilty suspect, then youshoud've reported it to Ben. Or maybe it was your own error that caused it. I know Ive accused the wrong one by my own screw up on note taking :)

As far as the skill level increasing, I dont think the false accusations amount should change. In my OPINION, its fine how it is. The prices raise as the experience goes up. Yes its costly ...and thats why we need to be extra careful and be 110% sure of the guilty one b4 accusing. Otherwise, quit ;)

I wouldnt mind seeing an option to Shady, as Ive posted b4 on it. If u do get 2 falses, you have the option of doing a favor, at the rediculously hard level (for shady only, not the normal favs), for him. If you solve the favor, he erases your falses from your record, and the gear u are rewarded from it, is turned into money and goes to HIM ,instead of you. If you dont solve the case, you end up having to pay him, with no more options to do a favor,if u leave and come back.

That was probably a difficult explanation lol but thats the only way I wouldnt mind a change to Shady. Not really a CHANGE, just an added feature to him. :)

On a day where it was down to two possible suspects having false alibis, all relevant people having clammed, no evidence on one and both witness and physical evidence on the other I took a chance and accused the latter. $40 000 or so dollars later, you know what I'd like to see? Shady buying you a drink after the deal is done.

Um. Failing that Makensie's idea would be cool.

LOL Crunch! a lifetime of free drinks at that. That cheap idiot doesnt spend one penny on us detectives who give him our whole bank account to clear our record. That jerk :)

Yes it is expensive and it can drive you nuts! BUT it sure teaches you how to solve a case.
Not sure if your note taking may have slipped or if you had the one in 100million case that was wrong Avlies. When in doubt click quit case. It can be tempting when your doing a favour case for a hunt and you decide to guess, but in the end I see it as part of the game guess and pay.

I hear you there, Coco!!

The only time I AM tempted to guess , if Im stuck, is on a favor that is needed in a hunt. I have guessed before twice like that, and lucky for me, I was right BUT now, since Ialready have one false, I do not quit, no matter what. whew! hehe

I believe Shady is just a front for the big man who is hoarding all the cash and using it to help the same convicts escape from jail. If it weren't for dedicated detectives like us, these escaped convicts would be roaming free, stealing priceless objects. I believe that the criminal mastermind behind all of the crimes committed in this world is none other than sleuthadmin. Yes that's right, the one person who built this world is the one who has helped create all of these crimes. Is it a small coincidence that soon after the world of sleuth was created that criminals began lurking on the streets and shady characters started taking our money? Of course not! But time is not to late my friends. Together we shall foil the plans of the mysterious criminal mastermind and bring justice to the streets of our planet. We will not allow Shady, Larry, the renegade Lucy, and the thieving "cabaret" to persuade innocent detectives into losing their hard earned money. Together we can make a difference.

Hmm interesting arguments you all make. As far as guessing. I dont. I had solid evadance against the suspects in both cases. Had both physical and witness evadance. I do like that idea about the favor tho. but I stil think the amount of false acusations should be increased as you gain expereance. Sumthing like for each level of dificulty you gain you gane one more false acusation chance. With this and leaving the cost problem it would make keeping those falses away hard still. The longer it takes for you to clear yourself the more money you still have to pay.
