L O L yoyo!
That was really terrible...
But quite fun to read.
Last night - Hallowe'en
Black cat slinks through the darkness
His name is Grover!
(Yes, I have a black cat named Grover. Yes, he made it through both Mischief Night and Hallowe'en safely. I think it's because he's so cute.)
November begins
With air crisp, like fresh apples
And leaves on the ground.
Haiku in my brain
Haiku flows from my fingers
I think I'm done now.

Working nights no fun
Up all night, sleeping all day
Wasting it away.

Oh no, not Hake, eww!
Of all the fish in the sea,
I'd rather flounder.

You stand before me
Totally shorn of clothing...
Autumnal elm tree.

I feel I've been led on!
Things might be getting racy?!
Nope, only a tree.

You need to branch out!
Though I'll avoid bad root puns
and leaf you in peace.

Tree puns in Haiku
Is it really quite kosher?
I truly think knot.

Sushi for luncheon
Then pizza at supper time;
Gotta love Fridays!
