Like I said, how does it work? Will I be able to see if a suspect is going to clam up on me on my first question?

You seem to be taking offense to me LED. My very presense seems to offend you.

As for Peter, I am in his agency. If I didn't feel I could give him friendly jibes and what have you then I wouldn't be part of his agency.

Personally I find Judge a very usefull skill. But it only became usefull late in the game, when I had high level of both charm and tough interview skills.
Also it wont be much use if you dont have locker accses. but if you do, its great! You just check which way your suspects or townies prefer and go dress accordingly.

I find stress detection to be useless. But offcourse someone else might like it LOL For me its useless and a waste of points. You learn soon enough how many questions you can ask. Also in high levels suspect might die or run on your second visit. So I find it better to ask all I want right away and not wait till next visit.

Sam,

Yes the better your Interview skills get (Tough/Charm) the more questions you will get answered.

Stress detection is a nice skill but there are lots of others that are more useful for a new detective or an older detective.

It was about equal... and both occured far too frequently for my liking though. I went for adv rule breaking in the end because it was cheaper. *nod*

Having the advanced skills gives you a better chance of unclamming your suspects, and also a better chance of them answering more than one question once they do unclam--the higher your total charm/tough score, the higher the chance that they'll answer more than 1 question. If I remember correctly, Int Sweet Talking is +20 and Advanced is +15 on top of that, plus of course your gear.
