Yes, there are inherently two servers for sleuth. One dedicated to me, the other for the rest of you folk. KIDDING!

No I highly doubt Ben has servers dedicated to specific parts of the world. It could be related to just about anything between your cable modem and the sleuth server itself. If blue's connection runs over the UPC network......set it on fire. Anything to piss my employer off.

Either that or there is someone evil hogging all the sleuth bandwidth. Lets have a show of hands?

I've made another adjustment to the server, that I'm hoping will further improve performance. Let me know if you find things running quicker, or slower for that matter.

About the same .. when there's less people on it's faster... when there's more..
But thanks, at the end of the day it's such a same thing :) and it doesn't really matter.

There are currently 71 detectives online, and the site is running very slow for me. I do have a T1, so I believe the site is actually running slower for me now.

Hmm, aren't T1's obsolete? You should try the T1000 or the newer, shinier and sexier T-X.

I am not sure what a T1000 is, but T1 is a high speed internet connection through my school. It is always connected, etc.

But, hopefully things will get better soon. It is taking me 30 minutes to play one case.
