Actually I don't think Shady charges the same for one or two. If you get one and you wait...by the time you get two your experience has gone up so it can be quite a bit higher if you wait to get the 2nd one. The 2nd time I went to him I had 1, it was about $2000, I waited until I got another (about 10 days later) and it had gone up to almost $5000 because my experience was higher.

I've found it easier (and cheaper) in the long run to clear them as you get them as long as you don't get 1 every other day. If you're getting 1 a day then yes, wait till you have 2.

Well if Mak pays around 800k and her experience is around 4m then that would suggest that the price is about 20% _of_ your experience.

Surely it's always cheaper to go to shady when you have 2 FAs if he charges you the same removing 1 or 2 FAs. For instance Peter would have had to have paid $2k + $5k = $7k instead of just $5k.

Shady's formula isn't static. The higher your exp. the smaller the percentage you pay.

*could go look for the quote in the subscriber center from Ben, but isn't going to*

Okay, from what I've been able to establish so far Shady works this way:
Strike 1 will set you $400 in debt with Shady (provided you're below 400 in exp. or somewhere in that area) where you'll stay until your exp. gets to around 400 (when testing Shady's price started climbing again somewhere between 320 and 400 exp.).

After this point his prices will go up by multiplying the experience a case level will give you by 1,2 until your exp. reaches 10,000 after which it switches to being 1/5 of the exp. a certain case level gives you, also dividing the experience points which the case that brings you above 10,000 so that the amount you lack before the 10,000 is multiplied by 1,2 and that which brings you over by 1/5.

However, this test was done in NY so I won't dare to say anything about how it may or may not work in the other cities except that being above 10,000 the 1/5-formula works for me in Shanghai as well - *note to self: really need to take another world tour and check Shady's prices ;) *

The reason I do know that prcies DO differ in each city, is because I checked. Its been that way for awhile because when I Directed BCD, another Director, who is no longer here, said that prices are different in Delphi from where we were at, which was London. When I was visiting NY,which was last week sometime, I checked with Shady, just to see what it was, and NY is the most expensive place to pay Shady. So it is true it differs in each city :)

:O Mackensie has found a secret route to Greece where she consults the Oracle on her harder cases, on what Ben really gets up to and which Coffee house is currently doing the best coffee.

You meant Delhi, right? ;)

Is Delphi like Big Lucy's? Pay Larry The Toe and suddenly a new city shows up on your map?

If we get to question an oracle I want something better than a new city.

I want to know when the &*(*%()$ curator is going to ask me to do a favor!!!!!!
