I'm playing today's Murder in Manhattan case, and when I go to the bank or the tailor to ask for an analysis of the thread or handwriting, when I select a suspect's name, I'm sent to the log in screen. It happens at both locations, and for all suspects.

I can see when hovering over the link that the url seems correct, and when I played yesterday, I ran into similar scenarios with no issue.

Is this a known or common issue? If so, is there any workaround? What's my next step here?

Sancity, can you please name the cases that can't be solved so people can avoid them before selecting one that they can't finish. Thanks

That's a great idea Dixon. After an extensive cross reference with my SM completed list, there are a total of 2 SMs that can definitely NOT be solved at this current point in time due to glitches and the standard issue with not being able to check physical clues:

The Bejeweled Songbird - NY
Dead Before Dessert - London

I have yet to confirm whether the Cairo SM is functioning, but it's the only one left on my list,so I hope this helps anyone searching!

@Dixon I'm not entirely sure whether there are still admins/mods still managing the game, I have attempted to contact them regarding the bugs in SM, but to no avail. From what I understand, there is no longer maintenance/repair of the game, thus we accept these cases as is.

@Jas I understand that the SMs might be marked as complete for you, but you must understand the context in which we, fairly new players are facing these issues. I understand that there was a glitch in 2016 where all the SMs crashed and were facing fixes. There was no confirmation that every single SM is in working order.

From what I recall of the last time I attempted these 2 SMs:
The Bejeweled Songbird - You get Julia as your first suspect, you ask her a question and she clams up. You cannot find any other suspects, there is no one else to speak to. The case is over.

Dead Before Dessert - The 3 pieces of evidence is needed to get the suspects to reveal more information, the motive of the killer cannot be revealed without it.

I might be completely wrong since it has been literal months since I last tried it, but you can test the cases again to see if you encountered the same issues I did. After all, I also attempted all of the cases to hit 38 completed SMs, I wouldn't drop the case simply because I was tired of trying.

Appreciate any updates on this if you guys are up to give it a go!
