Murder in Manhattan bugged?

I have attempted numerous times to analyze a thread found at the crime scene but once I select a suspect I am immediately kicked to the login screen. I have selected other suspects to see if perhaps MY SUSPECT was a dead link but all direct me to the login screen.
Any help?!?!

Mmmm I'm pretty sure this is bugged. There is something inherently wrong with a lot of scripted mysteries. It is a known problem, but there's no ETA on a fix to the best of my knowledge.
