I thought Children of Men was pretty good as well. I saw it in the theaters when it came out. But if you are looking foor a movie that is REALLY good, watch The Prestige with Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale. David Bowie also does an excellent job as Nikola Tesla

ctown, I loved The Prestige, though I admit I IMDed to see if David Bowie really was Tesla! How did I miss that one??! Well done to you :)
Of course, David Bowie will always be the Goblin King to me and if you haven't seen David Bowie in tights, you haven't seen Labyrinth!

lol coughs as he spies his copy of Singing in the Rain. I really liked the Prestige too. One movie I re-watched recently and I forgot how good it was considering it's just budget sci fi is Pitch Black. Yes, Yes it has Vin Diesel in it, but it's still better than just 'good'.

I have so many "favourite" movies that the next few posts would be from me. So, I'll just list some of the ones I can think of at the moment...
The Ex-Mrs. Smith
The One
The Lady Vanishes
Any Marx Brothers movie
Just about any cheesy 1970's kung fu flick (gotta be in the mood, though)
Little Women (Susan Sarandon/Winona Ryder version)
National Treasure
The Pacifier
The Ghost and Mrs. Muir
Almost anything by Mel Brooks
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Down Periscope
Grumpy Old Men
Candleshoe
Waking Ned Devine
Almost any Jackie Chan movie
Charade - in fact, almost anything with Audrey Hepburn
*gasps for air* And I think I'll just leave it there for now. But those are movies I can watch over and over and over...

These are a few that i just thought of right now. Manny of them are consistently in my mind and used constantly in conversation. But as i think more and more movies link to these and it makes it terribly difficult to stop writing....AH!
Van Helsing (Fan of the monster movies!)
The Mummy
The Mummy Returns
Rocky 1-6 they are all delightful!
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Amazing Grace
James Bond anyone (All of them although Pierce Brosnan is the best)?
Memento (To all who have not seen or heard of this movie, I HIGHLY advise it!!!)
Six Strong Samurai
Arlington Road
Dead Poets Society
Army of Darkness
When Harry Met Sally
