By the way, people around here tend to get a bit, er, suspicious when you put the word 'cheat' and the word 'cash' or 'money' in the same sentence together. Makes them think you're up to something unscrupulous. We two gentlemen know what a fine, upstanding citizen you are who'd never even contemplate ripping off another individual, but all the same, you get my drift, don'tcha Jim?? Oh good, that's what I thought...:-)

Big flaw on the cheating plan is this is a game full of Sleuths and we'd soon catch you!

Big flaw in the ponies plan is you need to be subbed to travel to Shanghai.

In short yep there is a sure fire way to more cash. Subscribe. As David said you get more cases and more favours so yes you have to work but you get your cash 3 times quicker. Plus then you can also travel between cities and go try the ponies. If you're anything like me that's a sure fire way to loose all your cash but the choice would be yours!

Well your gonna either have to sell your stuff or sell all favor items you recieve and earn the money that way.

And it's been said a million times elsewhere but don't guess! That way you avoid having to pay Shady at all (The bar guy).

You'll get stuff back pretty quikly. But if you have only 1 flase accusations against you wait till you ahve 2 till you pay it off.

Mr Wayne, I sent you some info on solving cases and a helpful chart to guide you. I strongly advise backing down the level you've been working at and building-up your cash. Be very careful. Don't guess.

Remember that since you aren't in an agency and haven't any contacts yet, you should stick to lower level cases. Do favors and gain contacts. This is an excellent way to help you be able to work better cases. If you cannot get a full list of suspects, or you cannot confirm all alibis and check either physical evidence OR witness evidence, you are working at too high a level. These are signs that you should try taking your case level down a notch until you have:
Better skills
Contacts
or
Better equipment.
