Too many people have fake alibis...in real life who the hell would want to give a fake alibi to a detective if he is innocent? In my case 3 people had fake alibis.
Too many people clamm up upon the FIRST time I ask them a question. FIRST time. In my case, FOUR people clammed up when I asked them the FIRST question.
Those two in one case, already makes my case impossible. If you can figure out how to do my case I would give you 1000 bucks
Is my luck just bad? Or my detective sucks?

no no, new skill points decrease in frequency, the ones you have are yours forever.

yea I understand that..I meant I hope I dont end up with 0.2 skill points after a case. Twill take m five cases to get 1 skill point. and BTW I got NONE for my last case. usual huh?

The lesson is the spend your skill points wisely...I wasted 7 on interogation already damn it.. :(

That's part of the game, yes you learn to value them very much. I, being a tough detective, wasted 7-8 on flirting which is as useless to me as interrogation is to you.
I think everyone has some skill in their portfolio that they kick themselves for buying.

I'm half regretting lashing out on my first smarts skill. Definitely should have gone for AST. But still, I did find a few threads today, so it's not been a total disaster...

I regret flirting. That was a waste for me, as i never use sweet talking, but interogation

bball I had that too. But now when Im old and have much more skills and equipment I can use both charm and tough. So I maybe regreted it in the begining but now I acctually enjoy it.
This doesnt mean you should buy both as begining detective. But if you already did that you might find it usefull later.
