I'm not sure this is where I should post this, if it's not, I'm really sorry.
I was just wondering if it would be interesting/possible for the townie who asked for the favor to be "nicer" to the detective during that case (like, more open to answering his/her questions, clamming up less or not at all, like contacts).
I'm not sure it's something possible to do, but just a curiosity.

This has been suggested a few times Francesca but nothing ever came of it. One of the threads Looking for Ideas mentions it. There are other threads as well but you have to look for them.
