Under detective adjustments, I have 2 smarts and 23 charms. (and minus 6 tough, because I don't use it.) Does anyone know if I should change my outfit and play around with the numbers more. Or is my detective as charming as she can be. Thanks!!

If what I'm seeing is your 'regular' uniform, so to speak, the only thing I'd prob'ly change is the Opera Glasses. There are better things out there (both regular items and AV) that are either higher in smarts, charm, or a combo of the two (the AV thing that's +5 charm and +3 smarts comes first to mind, think it might be the Spyglass??, but there's others out there).

Anyway, if what you're wearing right now is what you travel with, I'd say you're doing fine. When I do hunting, (I lean towards one side, depending on the city), I generally try and have either a tough or charming score of around 23 or 24, and try and have a smarts score of somewhere around 3 or 4. It's usually enough to get 3 of the 4 evidence pieces id'ed, and sometimes I get reallllly lucky and get all 4 (there's also the other side of the scale, of course, when I'm lucky to get one. luck of the draw, I guess. ;-). It also is usually enough to get surveillance on a suspect in about 1 out of 3 cases (not a bad percentage, for such a low number).

Maximum for ANY one score (charming, tough, or smart) is +31. Down side is, the other two will be around -8 (not good, in my opinion, but there ya go ;-).

Hope all that helps!! Keep smilin', Hap!! ;-D ;-D ;-D

(Yeah, I know. Bad pun, Breit. ;-)

Thanks Treschaude and Breitkat! Maybe I'll pick up something a bit better than opera glasses when I go Sleuthing. :-D
