*just really coughing up organs laughing at the realization that the link to this thread is titled 'Rumors that Regis Philman is gonna be the next hos' when I see it from the main Lounge page.
Dude has been a hose for years and years.
Fricasee Fran: I lived in Montreal for a bit and LOOOOOVE weird Franglais. Here's a little test. Translate the following from phonetic Quebecois French to English:
aiii toi, fet 'tention. Je pron moofan o bluay, ok? J'allay o cass

LMAO! In a search for the beckster I found this thread. Confession: Fricasee Fran was a double of mine, I killed her off when I got sick of her. I never saw Crunch's reply, or I'd have translated:
Hey you, pay attention. I want a blueberry muffin, okay? I'm going to the bank (Caisse Populaire).
Biggie: this is Quebec, the "eh" is not mandatory here.
Crunch, I think you're a Montrealer at heart. Flee the vapid TO wasteland and come on home!

No. "Tabarnac." It's a Quebec curse word, means "tabernacle." A lot of Quebec cursing is blaspheme. Used to be really Catholic around here, see.
Filthy Americans would do in a pinch, though.

Oh wait, "cass" could be the cash register too. Are we at Tim's for this discussion? Context is everything.

BANG! STICK EM UP!!!
I was going for cash register. Not quite Tim's but the low-rent Concordia university eat-trough equivalent! Mon job, c' nay-tay zha-may o bonk nee credit union :)
Full points to ara. Screw fran, she's history.
k here's another: ran in a popular commercial between 1994 and 1998:
Aiii, twa! Ren afair? la vee ay pla? Tem donsay? Alo BOOZHE de la! *cue house music*
(and be honest ara you know as well as I do that "Is that a Pepsi in your posket or are you just glad to see me" would fill in nicely for "Eh" too. Sometimes, context is fizzy. )
