Depends on where you get the dead battery. I was lucky last time my car was at the house and so I could charge it. Otherwise I'd go for the flat tire. And now I better knock on wood :)

If I must choose I'll go with the lumberjack. I think freshly cut tree mixed with sweat would have to smell better than, freshly drilled crude and sweat.
