I was wondering am I soppossed to be moving up from beginner, hard, harder, etc............... I started playing intermediate, and have stayed at that, but I see that Hard and harder are options that i could also choose.
If I don't choose to do hard, will i end up repeating cases? When do I know to move up?
I think i may have started repeating cases; but not sure.

There is no such thing as "repeating cases". Random Mysteries are just that - random. So the odds of having two mysteries that are the same is practically 0.

When to start attempting cases at higher dificulty is up to you to decide, but I recommend you to first improve your skills. Since you are Very Tough make sure you have at least Intermediate Interrogation and Advanced Intimidation before you attempt anything above Hard.

i agree with shadowblack if you've got a few skills it may be worth trying a herder level actually the hard level isn't that bad so you should be ok. If you find it to hard just quit the case and go back to intermediate until you get a few more skills.
